Skills Development Class for ages 13-15

Jumpstart your junior golfer’s game at Bridges at Poplar Creek Golf Course. This fun, five-week program is perfect for beginner to intermediate players, covering all key skills—full swing, chipping, pitching, sand play, and putting. Each one-hour weekly session builds confidence, improves technique, and keeps kids engaged. Maximum class size is 4 students. Register here to hold your spot and pay class fee at first class. Willow Crest G.C. July

The PGA Junior League at Willow Crest is a fun, structured, and development-focused golf program designed to help young players grow their skills, confidence, and love for the game in a positive team environment. Led by PGA Professional Brian Vaisnoras, this league blends instruction, on-course experience, and friendly competition in a format that is welcoming for beginners while still engaging for more experienced players. Players are placed on teams by coaches based on age, skill level, and friendships to ensure balanced competition and an enjoyable experience for everyone. Matches are played in a 3-vs-3 format, giving each player meaningful playing time while allowing coaches to provide guidance throughout the round. This season introduces an individual point system that rewards participation, effort, and performance on each hole. Players earn points for showing up, competing, and improving—helping shift the focus from winning matches to building confidence and developing skills. Northbrook Golf Academy - 13U - Play All 9

Introduce children to team golf in a fun and exciting environment. Our program is unique as participants will play all 9 holes participating in a 2 vs. 2 scramble(best shot) format on the Legacy 9 at Heritage Oaks or Anetsberger Par 3 Golf Course. Players will be paired with and play against other players from our academy based on their skill level and age. To participate in the league children must have their own set of clubs, be able to advance the ball 75-100 yards semi-consistently and have prior playing experience. (Not able to make a full program due to other summer conflicts, contact us directly for a modified season) Two step registration process: Pay your annual PGA Jr. League membership dues at pgajrleague.com and receive your jersey Register through the Northbrook Park District to cover greens fees, range fees and coaching fees. The Club at Wynstone competes in two different local Leagues. The program consists of 5 team practices and 6 regular season matches.

Village Greens of Woodridge Golf Course PGA Jr. League (July)

The PGA Junior League at Village Greens of Woodridge, offers young golfers a fun and team-oriented way to learn and play the game. With instruction provided by The Golf Practice, a golf academy based in Lisle, IL, this in-house league focuses on skill development, sportsmanship, and on-course experience in a supportive environment led by experienced coaches. Practice Schedule Mondays from 4:30pm – 5:45pm Practices held at Village Greens of Woodridge July 6, July 13, July 20, July 27, August 3 Play Dates will be held weekly on Saturday afternoon.

Cog Hill’s PGA Junior League program is a great way for any 4-8 year old's to not only get introduced to the game but get first-class group instruction and learn how to compete on the course in a low-pressure environment. Play days will be at the CDGA'S Sun Shine Course directly across the street from Cog Hill! Cog Hill’s team has qualified for the National tournament each of the last eight years. Our League is the only one in Illinois coached by 3 Golf Digest Best Teachers!

PGA Junior League Golf is designed to better socialize the game for boys and girls, ages 9-13. This fun format features team vs. team competitions in structured leagues that provide a popular, less stressful scramble format as opposed to stroke-play competition. This is a great way to get kids involved in the game! All participants MUST have their own clubs. Coaches can assess any equipment needs.
