2026 Sunrise Golf Course PGA Jr. League Program
Our goal this season is to introduce kids to the competitive side of golf and help them prepare for the high school level, all while keeping the experience completely fun and stress-free. To focus entirely on player development, our 8-week season (June 15th – August 12th) will meet just 1 day a week on Wednesdays, combining structured coaching from our Head and Assistant Golf Professionals with exciting, in-house scramble matches right here at Sunrise. Every junior golfer will receive top-tier instruction on fundamentals and course management, as well as an official player kit featuring a custom team jersey and bag tag. PGA Jr. League utilizes a two-person scramble match play format; it’s awesome because it takes all the pressure off the kids—if they don’t hit a shot exactly how they wanted to, it’s no big deal since their partner is right there to back them up with plenty of playing time for everyone, including groups with a substitute. The total cost is $120 for the PGA Jr. League kit plus a $50 Sunrise facility fee, and we are currently gathering sign-ups to officially launch the league—space is limited, so please contact Assistant Golf Professional Jayce Sharp at Jaycesharp1@gmail.com to secure your child's spot today!

At first, we'll talk about what success will look like for you. You don't need to buy anything, just be comfortable in some flat bottomed shoes and you're good to go. I've got golf clubs if you don't. All questions are fine and welcome. We'll go from whatever starting point you find yourself, at a comfortable pace for you. When you get to Hidden Creek, the big building on the right is where I'll meet you. Feel free to bring along a friend or family member to watch and listen; back up support is always good ! I predict fun and success for you.
