YMCA Newport/Green Valley Summer 13u 2026

Our program begins this Summer. Players of all abilities from beginners to advanced players are welcome. Practices are conducted weekly on our putting green, driving range, short game area and the golf course. Inter league tournaments on indoor simulators will also take place. \* Participants will need to provide their own clubs. All practices and tournaments will be held at the YMCA or Green Valley Golf Course. Parents will be informed prior to events. Practice will be held Thursdays from 5:30-7PM at Green Valley or the YMCA space depending on weather.

Hello All, Here is some info on the PGA Jr League at Whitinsville. Practices will be on Wednesday afternoons at 5-6, starting in June, once school gets out! The matches will be on Saturdays or Sundays, and we are still working out the dates for the matches.

Things coaches will be looking for from players, golf etiquette, work ethic, positive attitude and good sportsmanship. Show respect for coaches and other players with the ability to work as a team. All juniors must have their own clubs and must be able to carry their clubs for 9 holes. Practices will focus on all aspects of the golf game.

One season for Juniors ages 7 to 13 Starting April 26th Thru July 12th. Many match dates available. 2 Practices per week. Very family Schedule friendly. The International Junior PGA 2026

The International PGA Junior league is a fun packed experience for children or grandchildren of our membership. We will divide the players into two groups based on age. The Oaks group will be designed for young golfers ages 11 - 17 and Pines group will be designed for kids ages 5 - 10. These age constrictions are simply guidelines and we will remain flexible for any families who would like to keep their kids in the same classes if it makes sense for all participants. PGA Junior league will start on June 15th and will run for 10 consecutive weeks through August 19. Both the Oaks and Pines age groups will meet weekly for a mixture of practice sessions, instructional days, PGA Operation 36, or friendly competitions. You will represent either the Oaks or the Pines during intraclub matches, or you and your teammates will travel to other courses and represent The International against other PGA Junior League teams. If your game has what it takes some of you will become All-Stars and represent our league in local qualifying to try and become National Champions!
