Learning these techniques can help lower your scores by getting up and down more often.
2026 Webhannet Golf Club Summer PGA Jr. League (10u Program)
The 2026 Webhannet Golf Club Summer PGA Jr. League will be a 7-week program starting in July and ending in August. Our program will consist of golf two days a week and the schedule will consist of the following: Mondays - 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. - This day will be a practice day focusing in on both short game and full swing for the 60 minutes. Wednesday - 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. - This day will consist of two rotating formats - One week will be operation 36, focusing on shooting 36 or better from a specific distance; the following week we will be playing golf using the PGA Jr. League format, two-person team scramble format. Both players hit their tee shots; pick one of the two drives and both players hit from that spot; repeat the process until the golf ball is holed. We look forward to helping our Junior golfers develop their skills by creating a fun and educational environment both on the golf course and off. Cost:

This year, our 6-week Summer Program will start the week of July 6th and run through the week of August 17th. We will skip matches the weekend of July 25-26 and practices the week of July 27-31. The Coaching Fee of $500 is to be paid before or during the first scheduled practice at the Willowcreek Golf Academy shop. Our program is open to all levels of players including beginners. Players should have their own golf equipment. Coach Brian can help you with equipment questions and needs. All of our practices are conducted at the Willowcreek Golf Academy. Our matches are played either on our nine-hole par 3 course or the front nine of our championship course. Each player will play the course best suited for their age and/or skill level. Parents are required to be with their player(s) if they are on the par 3 course. Parents are welcome to spectate and walk along with their player(s) who are in the front 9 league. We do not offer golf carts for players or spectators.

Cochecho Country Club
Our PGA JUNIOR LEAGUE Team is Captained by Doug Van Wickler, PGA and Coached by Head Golf Professional Lucas Langelier, Asst. Professional Sean Pride and other capable adults. Doug is a 25+ year PGA Member, Maine PGA Teacher of the Year and Golf Professional of the Year and has been recognized by the PGA of America for his efforts to grow the game. He has been involved with PGA JR LEAGUE since 2016. Join our 13U team at Cochecho Country Club. Our program is designed for boys and girls ages 5-13. Players learn together and play together in a two-person scramble format. Our goal is to continue developing junior golfers of all skill levels into more competitive players while preparing them for the highest level of their future goals in golf and life with an emphasis on having FUN! We will have a fun meet and great before the start of the season where players meet teammates, parents meet other parents and of course the coaches. This is where ALL your questions are answered and the FUN starts! Practice will be held on Tuesday evenings from 5:00-6:30pm. We can provide equipment, if needed. Matches are typically held on Sundays, and are usually scheduled at 4:00pm and run for two hours or 9-holes, whichever comes first. We have lots of fun and very productive practices.
