PGA HOPE NMSU - Session 2
PGA HOPE is the flagship military program of the PGA of America. PGA HOPE is designed to introduce golf to Veterans and Active Duty Military to support their social, emotional, and physical well being. Join PGA HOPE alongside your fellow Veterans and Servicemembers. PGA HOPE has served thousands of Veterans and Servicemembers across the United States through one of our 300+ locations. This introductory program is designed to welcome those of all ages, branches, and eras of service, genders, and abilities to the golf course and share in camaraderie and fun together as a group. During this session you will learn the basics from grip to 9 holes of golf from PGA and LPGA Professionals. No golf equipment is required. If you do have clubs and/or any specialty equipment, please bring them with you. No prior golf experience necessary No VA disability rating required Veterans do not have to have combat or deployments in order to participate All expenses associated with PGA HOPE are covered NMSU GC will provide all necessary equipment throughout the program. Both sessions will meet from 3:00—4:30 PM with the last session meeting from 3:00-5:30 PM. As part of the PGA HOPE program, NMSU GC will host a graduation dinner for participants and their families after the last session. As part of the program, veterans will be guided through all aspects of the Game of Golf by PGA Professionals, PGA Associates, and PGA Golf Management Students. Whether you new to the Game of Golf or have previous experience, all participants will benefit from the lesson programming. CTG Spring Junior League
At Cruces Total Golf, our PGA Junior League will use TrackMan and PuttView to create an engaging, tech-driven team golf experience. TrackMan Simulators: Players will compete in virtual matches on famous courses, practicing full-swing shots, driving, and approach play with real-time ball tracking and feedback. PuttView Green: Juniors will develop putting skills through interactive drills, breaking putts, and structured challenges, enhancing their green-reading abilities. Team-Based Format: Just like traditional PGA Junior League, players will compete in scramble matches, fostering teamwork, strategy, and friendly competition. Progress Tracking: We’ll track player stats and improvement using TrackMan data, helping juniors set goals and refine their skills. This format allows juniors to experience competitive, fun, and developmental golf year-round, preparing them for on-course play in a dynamic indoor setting.
MVGA 17u (High School Prep)
Our 17u League is for high school aged player with competitive and on-course experience. Players will compete in weekly 9-hole best-ball matches from various yardages, focusing on performance, scoring, and preparing for higher-level junior golf events. This on-course format has been a huge success—our players are more engaged, improving their scoring ability, and learning to take ownership of their game. We’re excited to continue this structure and provide a clear pathway for progression.
MVGA All-Stars (Advanced)
Our All-Stars League is for advanced juniors with competitive and on-course experience. Players will compete in weekly 9-hole best-ball matches from 100–150 yards, focusing on performance, scoring, and preparing for higher-level junior golf events. This on-course format has been a huge success—our players are more engaged, improving their scoring ability, and learning to take ownership of their game. We’re excited to continue this structure and provide a clear pathway for progression. Scoring par from 150 yards required.
MVGA Majors (Intermediate)
The Majors League is perfect for intermediate-level juniors ready to take the next step in their competitive journey. Players will compete in 9-hole best-ball matches each week from 50–100 yards, allowing them to sharpen their short game, decision-making, and course management. Our updated format has already delivered great results—players are more independent, better understand the game, and are improving faster by playing their own ball and learning to score. It also gives us meaningful data to track player development. Scoring par from 50 yards required.
MVGA Minors (Newer Players)
The Minors League is designed for younger players with some on-course experience. This league provides the opportunity to play 9 holes of golf each week in a fun, team-based best-ball format, with players teeing off from 25–50 yards.
