Saratoga Lake Golf Club - Lakers
We are entering our 3rd year of PGA Junior League at Saratoga Lake Golf Club! Here is what we have to offer for the 2026 Season: When - Practices are Tuesday evenings from 5:30-7:00. Matches are typically on Sunday afternoons. We start the last week of June and go through the first week of August, depending on match rainouts. Practice - We use a combination of our short game area, putting green, and Trackman simulators to help develop our players. We try to keep it light so much of our practice is game oriented. We've also found it keeps our students more engaged. While we focus on the fundamentals for all players, our smaller team size allows for more individual development. Matches - We play against other local PGA Junior League teams at our course, as well as other local courses. Matches consist of two players playing a scramble format against two players from the opposing team. While there is a competition aspect, we are focused on developing our players and getting them comfortable on the golf course. We aim to create a fun environment where players know it's okay to make a mistake, as that's the best way to learn.
