PGA HOPE - Winding River Session 5

This session of PGA HOPE will be hosted by the Indianapolis Golf Academy at Winding River Golf Course, and led by PGA Professional, Chris Clemens. This session of PGA HOPE will meet at the following dates and times: Saturday, August 1 - 8:00am-9:30am Saturday, August 8 - 8:00am-9:30am Saturday, August 15 - 8:00am-9:30am Saturday, August 22 - 8:00am-9:30am Saturday, August 29 - 8:00am-9:30am Saturday, September 5 - 8:00am-9:30am PGA HOPE is the flagship military program of the PGA of America. PGA HOPE is designed to introduce golf to Veterans and Active Duty Military to support their social, emotional, and physical well being. Join PGA HOPE alongside your fellow Veterans and Servicemembers. PGA HOPE has served thousands of Veterans and Servicemembers across the United States through one of our 300+ locations. This introductory program is designed to welcome those of all ages, branches and eras of service, genders, and abilities to the golf course and share in camaraderie and fun together as a group. During this session you will learn the basics from grip to 9 holes of golf from PGA and LPGA Professionals. No golf equipment is required. If you do have clubs and/or any specialty equipment, please bring them with you. No prior golf experience necessary No VA disability rating required Veterans do not have to have combat or deployments in order to participate All expenses associated with PGA HOPE are covered Any questions? PGA Family Cup

4th Annual PGA Family Cup presented by the Clemens' Family and the Indianapolis Golf Academy. Benefiting FORE Families Charity, PGA HOPE Program for Veterans & Active-Duty Military, and PGA Jr League Financial Assistance Scholarships! Your Family is your team, Think parents and grandparents, brothers and sisters, aunts and uncles… all playing for the same, multi-generational team. PGA Family Golf is all about the team experience. Open to all ages and ability levels. WHERE: Winding River Golf Course 8015 Mann Rd Indianapolis, IN 46221 WHEN: Friday July 10th, 2026 Tee Times Available 12pm until 6:45pm FORMAT: 9-hole Scramble Two-Person Team Division and Four-Person Team Division Teams may consist of any familiy members. Adult Introduction

Students will learn the basics of the golf swing and short game fundamentals needed to improve in a safe and fun environment.

Advanced Adult

Advanced students should have a basic understanding of the golf swing and basic fundamentals. Expect to become more efficient in those areas while improving in areas such as: chipping, putting, green reading, tournament preparation, how to practice, among others.
