Our Jr golf program will be a great opportunity for juniors to learn the game of golf. Learn how to putt, chip, and hit the ball. Our clinic will be a fun and safe learning experience for your Jr golfer. Attire: Dress for the weather, shorts, golf shirt, cap and tennis shoes are appropriate for our clinic. And don’t forget sunscreen and water. Equipment needed: If you have golf clubs for your participant, please bring them. Otherwise, please contact us as a limited supply of loaner clubs are available. Sierra View CC Fall Semester - 13 & Under

The PGA Jr. League program is open to juniors of all experience levels, from beginners just getting started to players with prior on-course experience. This fun and engaging program is designed to help young golfers learn, grow, and enjoy the game in a positive, team-oriented environment. Players will participate in skill-development clinics that focus on all aspects of the game through fun games, interactive drills, and age-appropriate activities. In addition to clinics, juniors will be introduced to on-course play, learning the fundamentals of playing golf while building confidence, sportsmanship, and course etiquette. PGA Jr. League emphasizes teamwork, encouragement, and fun, creating a supportive atmosphere where kids can make friends, develop their skills, and experience golf in a way that keeps them excited and engaged.

Sierra View CC Fall Semester - 9 & Under

2026 13U Tahoe City GC Competition Team

Designed for players ages 8-13 with previous golf experience, practices will focus on on course strategies, course management as well as improving technical skills. Skills practices in late May and June with matches against Incline and Tahoe Donner beginning June 25th. Practices and matches will be mostly on Thursdays with a couple of Mondays as well.

2026 13U Tahoe City GC Development Program

Designed for players ages 10-13 with limited to no golf experience, we will focus on golf fundamentals progressing to on course skills as the season moves on. Practices will be Wednesday afternoons from Early June through end of July.

2026 17U Tahoe City GC PGA Jr League

Designed for golfers ages 14-17 with emphasis on on course skills including course management, competition play and strategies and mental game while improving technical skills. Majority of practice time will be spent on course so previous golf experience is strongly recommended but not required. Practices and matches will take place on some Mondays and some Thursdays.

2026 9U Tahoe City Development Program

Designed for players ages 6-9 with limited to no golf experience, we will focus on golf fundamentals progressing to on course skills as the season moves on. Practices will be Wednesday afternoons from Early June through end of July.

Truckee U17 Team - Northstar

The U17 PGA Jr. League at Northstar is designed for golfers ages 13–18 who are looking to gain competition experience in a fun, inclusive team environment. This program is a great fit for athletes who already have some golf experience and are motivated to compete and take their game to the next level. We follow the traditional PGA Jr. League 2-person scramble format, creating a supportive and team-oriented approach to competition. Players will compete in matches against teams from Tahoe City, Tahoe Donner, and Incline Village, with travel to each course throughout the season. Schedule: We will start in June the week of the 8th or 15th - TBD. We will communicate a more detailed schedule and start date as we get closer to the season. It is in the works with the other teams. Matches are primarily held on Mondays in the afternoon (3pm or later) Additional team practice and play days will be scheduled on select Tuesdays Fees: PGA Jr. League Registration ($120): Paid here directly to the PGA to secure your spot. Includes Game Changer membership and two personalized team jerseys (new styles and colors this year). Coaching Fee ($200): Paid at the start of the season and covers team coaching and program organization. We also strongly encourage participation in the Truckee-Tahoe Junior Golf Tour (TTJGT), which offers more competitive individual 9- and 18-hole events. These tournaments are a great complement to team play and provide valuable tournament experience for athletes looking to continue progressing. Please reach out with any questions.
