Late Summer Season | Royal St. Cloud PGA Jr. League (Ages 14 - 17)
Late Summer Season | Royal St. Cloud PGA Jr. League (Ages 14 - 17)

PGA Jr. League at Royal St. Cloud Golf Links Team Golf. Real Friendships. Confidence That Lasts. PGA Jr. League is one of the most exciting ways for junior golfers to experience the game. Instead of playing alone, players become part of a team, wear team jerseys, practice together, compete together, and create friendships that often last for years. Led by PGA Jr League Coach Roger and Florida Junior Golf, our program combines skill development, team competition, and real on-course experience in a positive, encouraging environment where every player can succeed. Players learn to play with purpose, think through challenges, manage emotions after difficult shots, and confidently prepare for the next opportunity rather than dwelling on the last one. Whether your child is brand new to golf or already competing in tournaments, PGA Jr. League provides a fun pathway to learn, improve, and fall in love with the game. 🟢What Players Learn • Real on-course golf experience, tournament play, and team competition • Putting, chipping, pitching, bunker play, and full swing fundamentals • Pre-shot routines, physical warm-ups, breathing techniques, and mental preparation • Course management, golf strategy development and smart decision-making during play • Confidence, emotional resilience, and learning how to recover from mistakes • Golf etiquette, sportsmanship, pace of play, respect, and following directions • Teamwork, leadership, communication, social-emotional learning, and lasting friendships • How to compete while having fun and supporting teammates Players compete in PGA Jr. League's exciting scramble format, allowing teammates to work together, encourage one another, and learn through real playing situations on the golf course. Our teams are carefully organized so that beginner, intermediate, and advanced players all feel welcomed, supported, and appropriately challenged. As players grow, they also learn to think independently on the course. During official matches, players compete, and encourage each other, helping them build confidence, problem-solving skills, and trust in their own abilities. 🟡 Why Families Love PGA Jr. League Families consistently tell us this is one of the most enjoyable programs their children participate in because it combines: • Real golf played on the golf course, not just time on the driving range • Friendships that often continue beyond the season and outside of golf • Family involvement and opportunities to create lasting memories together • Confidence-building experiences that help players grow on and off the course • Positive coaching, mentorship, and encouragement in a supportive environment • Team competition that teaches sportsmanship, leadership, and accountability • Life lessons such as resilience, emotional control, respect, and perseverance • A welcoming community where beginners and experienced players can thrive Many of our players return season after season because they love being part of something bigger than themselves. Conveniently located at Royal St. Cloud Golf Links, just minutes from Lake Nona, Kissimmee, and Orlando, and approximately 30 minutes from Disney and the major attractions. 🟡SEASON SCHEDULE PGA Jr. League is offered year-round through five seasonal sessions, allowing players to continue developing their skills, confidence, friendships, and on-course experience throughout the year. 🌻 Late Summer 2026 Season August 12 – Oct 10, 2027 • 9 Team Practices • 9 Match Days 🍂 Fall 2026 Season October 21 – December 19, 2026 • 8 Team Practices • 8 Match Days • No Practice: November 25 (Thanksgiving Week) • No Match: November 28 (Thanksgiving Weekend) ❄️ Winter 2027 Season January 6 – February 28, 2027 • 8 Team Practices • 8 Match Days 🌸 Spring 2027 Season March 10 – May 22, 2027 • 10 Team Practices • 10 Match Days • No Practice: March 17 (Spring Break) • No Match: March 20 (Spring Break Weekend) ☀️ Summer 2027 Season June 16 – August 7, 2027 • 8 Team Practices • 8 Match Days 🔹 Weekly Schedule • Team Practices: Wednesdays (depending on when the sunsets, anywhere from 5 - 7 pm). • Match Days: Primarily Saturdays, with occasional Sunday matches if required by league scheduling and golf course events. • Practice and match schedules may be adjusted due to weather, course availability, PGA Jr. League scheduling requirements, holidays, or special events. 🟢 REGISTRATION & PAYMENT INFORMATION PGA Jr. League consists of two separate registrations.
