Junior Summer Camp
Deercreek Junior Summer Camp 2026, a fun and structured golf development program designed for beginner to intermediate junior golfers. This summer camp is a great opportunity for young players to build confidence, learn proper fundamentals, and enjoy the game in a positive, engaging environment. Led by Christopher Yeager, PGA Coach and Director of Instruction\*\*,\*\* the Junior Golf Academy will focus on full swing fundamentals, short game development, putting instruction, on-course play, etiquette, rules education, skill challenges, and weekly contests. Camp will run from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM

2026 St. Johns Golf Club Summer PGA Junior League 13U
Youth will play five matches against each other as two in-house, PGA Junior League teams located at St. Johns Golf Club. Thirteen practice sessions will be held, one every Wednesday and alternating every other Saturday with matches. Practices will be on Wednesdays/ Saturdays from 3:30-4:30pm while matches will always be on Saturdays at the facility from 3-5pm. Teams will have access to Operation 36 videos to assist in the learning process, as well as TPI-style training sessions during practice days. PGA Professionals Jared Cross and Tommy Aycock will coach the teams. Beginners and intermediate players are welcome. Junior Lesson
Get results with a 1 hour private lesson Each 1-hour lesson starts with an interview to establish the junior golfer's golf history, create and/or review goals, and discuss previous instruction (if applicable). We then progress through your customized lesson plan to help you become a more consistent golfer. ADM Certified Instruction As an American Developmental Model certified instructor, we are trained to build athletes, not necessarily just golfers. ADM junior golf training incorporates other activities other than just swinging a club to help build body coordination, balance and athleticism. Training activities vary based on age, gender and athletic history. Along with these training activities, many topics are available to focus on for a singular lesson. Choose your topic Topics Chipping Pitching Irons Driver Putting Greenreading Sand Bunkers Launch your junior's game to new heights During the lesson, juniors may learn new activities that cover every facet of body, mind and swing development. Consistent and proper use of these drills will propel their games to new heights consistently! Many subjects may be included in the lessons, but are not limited to: How we learn and how to set yourself up for success in the game of golf What makes the ball go in the air? What determines how far the ball goes? How to hit the sweet spot consistently Why keeping your head down (and/or keeping your eye on the ball) is a swing killer Controlling how far the ball goes around and on the putting green Getting out of the sand bunkers in one shot more consistently Course Management (i.e. planning) Game Management (i.e. pre-shot routine, processes, mentality) Warm-up How to transfer good practice to good play Please reach out if you have any questions and I will be happy to help!
