The PGA Junior League at Willow Crest is a fun, structured, and development-focused golf program designed to help young players grow their skills, confidence, and love for the game in a positive team environment. Led by PGA Professional Brian Vaisnoras, this league blends instruction, on-course experience, and friendly competition in a format that is welcoming for beginners while still engaging for more experienced players. Players are placed on teams by coaches based on age, skill level, and friendships to ensure balanced competition and an enjoyable experience for everyone. Matches are played in a 3-vs-3 format, giving each player meaningful playing time while allowing coaches to provide guidance throughout the round. This season introduces an individual point system that rewards participation, effort, and performance on each hole. Players earn points for showing up, competing, and improving—helping shift the focus from winning matches to building confidence and developing skills. Our PGA Jr. League program is a fun, social and inclusive opportunity for boys and girls age 9-15 to learn how to compete on the course in a low-pressure environment. Players have a weekly practice and play 6-hole matches with a partner in a scramble format on Sunday late afternoons. Great program for making new friends and learning how to become a well-rounded golfer. This is a developmental league for beginners to recreational player level but not overly competitive. All 5 matches and 5 practices are held at the Bridges of Poplar Creek CC. Beginner friendly.

Junior - 30 Minute Individual Private Lesson

This is a Junior Private Individual lesson with a PGA golf Professional. You can pay online or you can pay in person or at your first lesson. We will be meeting at the Driving range at the Bloomingdale Golf Club at the North end of the parking lot. All Students should have a set of golf clubs; If there is a need for clubs, please contact the Golf shop ahead of the scheduled class or lesson to see if some can be provided. All students should be in proper golf attire with Golf shoes or gym shoe – No flip-flops or sandals.

30 Minute Individual Private Lesson

This is a Private Individual lesson with a PGA golf Professional. You can pay online or you can pay in person at your first lesson. We will be meeting at the Driving range at the Bloomingdale Golf Club in Bloomingdale, IL at the North end of the parking lot. All students should be in proper golf attire with Golf shoes or gym shoe.

This is a tandem/group lesson with 2 to 3 people with a PGA professional. You can pay online or you can pay in person at your first lesson. Junior - 1 Hour Individual Private 4 Lesson package

This is a series of 4 - 1 hour Junior lessons with a PGA professional. You can schedule the first lesson and then wait to schedule the rest after your first lesson, or you can schedule them all at the same time. I recommend at least one week in between each lesson; this allows you time to practice and play. We will be meeting at the Driving range at the Bloomingdale Golf Club at the North end of the parking lot. All Students should have a set of golf clubs; If there is a need for clubs, please contact the Golf shop ahead of the scheduled class or lesson to see if some can be provided.
