The PGA Junior League at Willow Crest is a fun, structured, and development-focused golf program designed to help young players grow their skills, confidence, and love for the game in a positive team environment. Led by PGA Professional Brian Vaisnoras, this league blends instruction, on-course experience, and friendly competition in a format that is welcoming for beginners while still engaging for more experienced players. Players are placed on teams by coaches based on age, skill level, and friendships to ensure balanced competition and an enjoyable experience for everyone. Matches are played in a 3-vs-3 format, giving each player meaningful playing time while allowing coaches to provide guidance throughout the round. This season introduces an individual point system that rewards participation, effort, and performance on each hole. Players earn points for showing up, competing, and improving—helping shift the focus from winning matches to building confidence and developing skills. PGA Junior League Golf is designed to better socialize the game for boys and girls, ages 9-13. This fun format features team vs. team competitions in structured leagues that provide a popular, less stressful scramble format as opposed to stroke-play competition. This is a great way to get kids involved in the game! All participants MUST have their own clubs. Coaches can assess any equipment needs.

Our PGA Jr. League program is a fun, social and inclusive opportunity for boys and girls age 9-15 to learn how to compete on the course in a low-pressure environment. Players have a weekly practice and play 6-hole matches with a partner in a scramble format on Sunday late afternoons. Great program for making new friends and learning how to become a well-rounded golfer. This is a developmental league for beginners to recreational player level but not overly competitive. All 5 matches and 5 practices are held at the Bridges of Poplar Creek CC. Beginner friendly.

The PGA Junior League at Beloit Club, led by LPGA Professional Pamela Saladino, is a high-energy, team-based program where juniors learn the game, compete, and grow their confidence on and off the course. This is where players don’t just practice—they play. Juniors are placed on teams, wear jerseys, and compete in structured matches while learning how to perform under pressure, support teammates, and develop real on-course skills. Coach Pamela and her team bring a balance of fun, fundamentals, and competitive edge, helping each player improve their full game—from driving and iron play to short game and putting—while building routines that translate to the course. Level Up Golf Academy PGAJL 2026
PGAJL is included in Level Up's Junior Academy which is a year round program. LUJA is an all-inclusive program comprising of 10 hours of group instruction and on-course play with coaching per month, and PGAJL matches. Junior learn essential golf skills for all parts of the game: putting, chipping, ball striking, driving, fitness, course management, rules and etiquette, and the mental game. Level Up's PGAJL is open to ages 8-13 for any junior ready to take their game on course and to the next level! Level Up Junior Academy begins May 5th on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
