2026 Rumson Country Club: Age 5-9 PGA Jr. League Program

The Spring Brook Country Club PGA Jr. League is a fun, competitive interclub team program where junior golfers proudly represent Spring Brook while competing against other local country clubs. The season will run well into September and will have practices and matches monthly, with matches played at both home and away venues. This program is best suited for junior golfers who can: • Carry their own clubs for 9 holes • Manage themselves on the golf course with limited supervision • Demonstrate a basic understanding of golf rules and etiquette • Make consistent contact with the golf ball • Enjoy being part of a team-oriented environment Please note: This is not a major instructional program. The PGA Jr. League is designed to further grow a junior golfer’s development through competition, both internally at Spring Brook and against other country clubs. Practices will focus on match-style preparation, competitive games, on-course situations, and skill challenges that help juniors learn how to perform under pressure rather than on extensive swing instruction. The program also emphasizes sportsmanship, teamwork, and camaraderie, providing juniors with the opportunity to build and strengthen friendships while representing their club in a fun and supportive environment. Parent participation is an important part of the program’s success. Volunteers will be needed to drive to away matches and we can coordinate carpools as match dates get closer. During matches, parents will be asked to help transport players to their starting holes, assist with pace of play, and support a smooth and enjoyable competition experience for all participants. A full match schedule will be released once coordination with other clubs in our group is complete. Matches are typically held on Saturday or Sunday afternoons until school ends, then transition to weekday afternoons in late July and August. Practice days will vary based on the club’s events calendar with a mix of weekday afternoons and non-match weekends. Players are also encouraged to take advantage of Spring Brook’s practice facilities and continue developing their skills outside of scheduled practices. ⛳️

Holmdel Juniors FALL

Fall Season consists of practices and course play for a team of golfers ages 8-13 years old! Opening Day / Meeting at Golf Galaxy - Holmdel In August TBD, (20) PRACTICES at Golf Galaxy- Holmdel: Wednesdays 3:30pm or 5:30pm, Saturday afternoon or Sunday afternoons, August 26th- November 1st. 90-minute supervised practices will focus on fundamentals and how to golf safely in a group setting! Cost included in the attached registration link. (4) GOLF COURSE GAMES at local golf courses: Weekdays at 5:30pm, up to 4 golf course matches for 2 hours. Additional cost up to $250 for all 6 matches, depending upon the golf course fees.

Cherry Valley In House Summer League

Join the action this summer with our In-House PGA Junior League, where players will compete on two to four teams for the coveted Cherry Pitbull Trophy! This league is perfect for players looking for friendly competition and skill-building in a fun, team-oriented environment. Running through July and August, the league includes weekly practices and matches, along with a kickoff and end-of-year party to celebrate the season. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced player, this league is a great way to improve your game, make friends, and enjoy the thrill of competition. We’re thrilled to announce the PGA Junior League at Five Iron’s Flagship Flatiron NYC location! This is a fantastic opportunity for junior golfers of all levels to compete, improve, and make friends! PROGRAM OVERVIEW: 5 Week Season (no programming Thanksgiving week) Practices and Matches held at Five Iron Golf, Flatiron location (811 6th Ave, NYC 10001) Monday practice from 5:30-6:30PM 9 hole matches held each Saturday in the 4 team 5i Flatiron League. Matches held from 9-11AM (free warmup begins 8:30AM) Season culminates with a Championship Finale for all teams on Saturday, Dec 12th!
