Hosted by Tanglewood Park and Daniel Byrd, PGA 📅 Sunday, August 9th ⏰ 2:00 PM Shotgun Start 📍 Tanglewood Park Par 3 Course Join us for our Annual PGA Family Golf Event—a Tanglewood tradition and the perfect way to celebrate the final day of summer before school starts back on Monday, August 10th! Spend the afternoon making memories with family, enjoying some friendly competition, and wrapping up summer together before the new school year begins. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 What is PGA Family Golf? PGA Family Golf is designed for families of all ages and skill levels. Teams consist of 2–6 players and must include at least one adult (18+) and one junior (17 or younger). Whether it's mom, dad, grandparents, cousins, or siblings—bring the whole family! 🏌️ Family Scramble Format Everyone tees off. Choose the best shot. Everyone plays from that spot until the ball is holed. This relaxed, fun format keeps everyone involved and enjoying the day together. We'll be playing on the Par 3 Course, making it beginner-friendly and enjoyable for golfers of every age and ability. 🎯 Event Highlights ⛳ Closest-to-the-Pin Contest 🏌️ Range balls and green fees included 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Fun for golfers of all ages and abilities ☀️ A great way to celebrate the end of summer together as a family 💲 Registration Changes this year, go to the link, it is not a per team entry fee like in the past, you must register each player on your team and pay online when you register.  Gives you the option to add Adults and Juniors. Event Entry Fee: $15 per player again register every player on your team! 🍽️ New This Year – Post-Round Family Buffet! After the round, we'll gather in the Main Clubhouse to turn in scorecards, announce our winners, and celebrate another great PGA Family Golf Event together. Our friends at Southern Harvest The 19th Hole have created a delicious buffet for everyone to enjoy after play. Buffet Cost: $14 per person (plus tax) Buffet Menu 🍔 Hamburgers & Cheeseburgers • Lettuce, tomato, pickles, and onions 🥪 Pulled Pork • Buns available for sandwiches 🍗 Chicken Tenders • Assorted dipping sauces 🌭 Hot Dogs • Full selection of condiments Sides Coleslaw Mac & Cheese Baked Beans French Fries/Chips Mixed Fruit Cups Beverages Included Tea Lemonade Water Soft drinks, beer, and wine will be available for purchase separately. The buffet is optional, but we do need an accurate headcount. If your family plans to stay for dinner, please email me after registering with the total number of family members attending so we can provide Southern Harvest with a final count.

Private lesson for juniors aged 6-15 years old and all skill levels! The first lesson will be an assessment of your game. Whether you are a complete beginner, intermediate golfer or advanced golfer, this assessment will help me develop the best game plan to help you reach your golfing goals. All lessons will include a video analysis of the swing and a lesson recap with drills and practice habits to implement.
