PLAYer Development Academy, Tuesday/Thursday August
This registration is for our Player Development Academy for ages 8 and up. The Little Linksters Player Development Academy is designed for junior golfers who have mastered the fundamentals and are ready to take the next step in their golf journey. This invitation-based program is for players who have successfully completed our beginner and fundamental classes and have been assessed by our coaching staff as ready for advanced instruction and training. Clinic sessions will be held at 5:30pm- 7:00pm on these dates: August 4, 6, 11, 13, 18, 20, 25, 27 The cost for this clinic series is $249 + service fees. Little Linksters Summer Camp Full Day Week 7 (7/20-7/24)
Weekday camp Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 3:30pm where junior players will get a chance to work with coaches to learn or refine their putting skills, chipping and pitching skills, full swing, and rules and etiquette. They will have fun playing games on and off the course. Here are a few things to note: Drop off as early as 8am and pickup as late as 4pm. Players should where comfortable clothes and closed-toed shoes preferrably sneakers--NO CROCS. Players are expected to have clubs, although equipment can be provided for a $40 rental fee for the week (paid at camp). Players should expect to be outside for multiple hours at a time. Players are encouraged to bring a water bottle that can be refilled throughout the day. Players can bring lunch or buy one of the daily specials in the clubhouse. Camp will be held rain or shine. We will be prepared with indoor activities if it rains. The camp cost is $400 + transaction fee. Please list both an email and a phone number when registering. New Student Assessment
The New Student Assessment is a comprehensive first session designed to evaluate your current game, goals, strengths, and areas for improvement. This assessment includes full swing analysis, short game evaluation, ball striking tendencies, course strategy discussion, and a personalized improvement plan to help create a clear path forward in your development.
On Course Playing Lesson
I like to use on-course time as a playing assessment for new players or a course-management lesson for current students. The 'Playing Assessment' is used for me as a coach to gain a good sense of where you are, where you'd like to be and build a road map to help you get there.
6 Lesson Beginner Fast Track- Learn to PLAY the Game
Lesson 1: Grip and Stance In this lesson, you'll learn about the correct grip and stance to give you a solid foundation for your swing. This is important as it can affect the direction and power of your shots. Lesson 2: Swing Basics Here, you'll gain an understanding of the important components of a golf swing, including the backswing, downswing, and follow-through. Lesson 3: Short Game Fundamentals You'll learn the basic techniques for chipping and putting in this lesson, which are crucial to scoring well on the course. Lesson 4: Iron Play This lesson will cover the basics of hitting irons, including how to choose the right club, ball position, and swing tempo. Lesson 5: Driving and Fairway Play In this lesson, you'll learn the fundamentals of hitting a driver and fairway woods off the tee, including tee height and ball position. Lesson 6: Course Management and Etiquette Finally, you'll learn how to manage your way around the golf course, including course strategy, etiquette, and how to keep score. This lesson will help you feel confident when playing on the course and enhance your overall playing experience.

We’ll then review your current equipment to ensure it’s working for you, not against you. We will include a warm up bucket before the next portion which is our on course assessment. If you are a true beginner with no golf experience please inquire about the best options for you if you are unsure. The plan here is to lead you into one of our on course programs which allow you to continue to reach towards your 1 year golf goal! By the end, you’ll walk away with a clear, customized improvement plan designed to accelerate your progress and help you reach your long-term goals with confidence!
