Village Green Junior Stableford Series (17U)
Village Green Junior Stableford Series (17U)

Village Green Junior Stableford Series (17U) Ages 13–17 (based on player age July 31st, 2026) September 12 – November 14, 2026 A competitive Saturday morning league designed for junior golfers who are ready to play full 18-hole "executive" Par 58 rounds and develop tournament-style scoring in a fun, season-long competition. Rather than team matches, players compete as individuals each week, earning Stableford points based on their performance on every hole. The format rewards aggressive play while allowing golfers to recover from a difficult hole by simply picking up and moving on. Whether you're preparing for high school golf, tournament play, or simply want consistent competitive experience, the Junior Stableford Series provides meaningful rounds in a welcoming environment. Season Details Season: September 12 – November 14, 2026 Rounds: 8 scheduled Saturdays No Play: October 3 (Village Green Oktoberfest Family Cup) October 31 (First Tee Spooktackular Event @ Village Green) Tee Times: Beginning at 10:00 AM each Saturday Format: Individual Stableford Competition Course: 18 Holes at Village Green Golf Club Season Championship: Best 5 of 8 rounds count toward overall standings Missing a week won't eliminate you from championship contention, allowing flexibility around school, tournaments, and family schedules. Stableford Scoring Instead of counting every stroke, players earn points on each hole based on their score relative to par. ScorePoints Eagle (2 under par) 6 Birdie (1 under par) 4 Par 2 Bogey 1 Double Bogey or Worse 0 Once a player reaches double bogey or can no longer score points on a hole, they should pick up their ball and proceed to the next tee. This keeps play moving while encouraging players to stay positive and focus on the next opportunity. Season Championship Consistency wins championships. Best 5 of 8 weekly scores count toward the season standings. Weekly leaderboards will be posted. Players can improve their season standing throughout the fall. Season Champion will be crowned at the conclusion of the series. Awards & Recognition Throughout the season, players will compete for weekly and season-long honors: Weekly Stableford Champion – Awarded each Saturday to the player with the highest Stableford point total. Most Birdies Award – Recognizes the player who records the most birdies throughout the season. Season Champion – Awarded to the player with the highest cumulative Stableford point total using their best 5 of 8 rounds. Registration & Pricing Option 1 - Village Green Junior Stableford Series $149 Series Fee Register through PGA.com and enjoy eight weeks of competitive individual play, weekly leaderboards, and season-long awards. Waterlefe Fall 2026 Junior League Season
Waterlefe Fall 2026 Junior League Season

We will be having an in house league this season here at Waterlefe. We anticipate 4 teams (8-10 players on each team) that will compete against each other and play for the championship. Practice nights will be on Monday or Thursday from 5:30-7. Matches will be on Saturday afternoon or Wednesday afternoon depending on the matches that are scheduled. During the matches we will have singles matches as well as the traditional scramble matches. All players will be playing all of the holes during the matches and we will not be rotating players in and out like previous seasons. I can guarantee siblings will be playing on the same team and will do my best to keep groups of friends together. Practice nights are filled on a first come, first filled basis so please make sure to sign up early. All matches will be played against opponents that are of similar ability level and appropriate tees. At the end of the season we will have a pizza party to wrap up the season. First practices will be the week of August 17 and first matches to start 2-3 weeks later. We look to have the season finished by the end of October. Coaching fees will be collected online this season.
