Why is this team being assembled? The Indianapolis Academy All-Star Team is being assembled foremost to operate in the spirit of PGA Jr. League. The All-Star Season highlights the aspirational nature of competition, celebrated in a way unique to PGA Jr. League. Ultimately, it’s a celebration of PGA Jr. League as a whole, and all competitions are designed to have a fun, family-friendly and festival-like atmosphere. Indianapolis Golf Academy junior members have given their time to improve the physical and mental well-being of others while spreading a joyful interest in the game of golf. One of our goals is to give the Indianapolis Academy All-Star Team everything they need to advance to and win a PGA Jr League National Championship. All while adhering to the value-based policies of specific age, mileage and player eligibility requirements. 2026 Indianapolis Golf Academy 13U All-Star Team Training & Qualifying Program: The Indianapolis Golf Academy is building on three seasons of remarkable growth, elite coaching, and competitive success. Our players and teams have come within inches of qualifying for the Televised PGA Jr. League National Championship, and those near‑misses have only strengthened our resolve. After winning and contending at the state and regional level, our program is now fully focused on one goal: bringing a PGA Jr. League National Championship to Indiana in 2026 and into the future. We are assembling the Indianapolis Golf Academy 13u PGA Jr League All Star Team from training, competitions, and All-Star Play days. Anyone from 10yr to 13yrs old will be given the opportunity to qualify for our final 8‑player roster, while up the top 16 players may be given the opportunity to play in "All-Star Play Days" (depending on availability) 8-player Recreational All Star Team spots remain open for driven junior golfers who want to train, compete, and develop at the highest level, And will be given the opportunity to play at Indiana Section Championship Celebration Division. If invited we will field a team of approximately 12-players to play a RECREATIONAL “CELEBRATION” MATCH at another facility. Drive, Chip and Putt Jr Prep Clinic
Note: Participation in A Prep Clinic is NOT required for participation in free Drive, Chip and Putt Qualifier Events. We are excited to announce a Drive, Chip and Putt Prep Clinic at Barla Golf Academy, a 4000sq ft PGA Certified Indoor Training Facility in Noblesville, IN. Join PGA Coach Scott Barla, Golf Digest 2026-27 IN Best Teacher/2024 PGA IN Best Teacher, and staff as we help kids prepare to participate in Drive, Chip, and Putt. Whether they're new to the game and entering Drive, Chip and Putt for the first time, or experienced players, Drive, Chip and Putt is a great way for junior golfers to get a bite-size taste of golf while measuring skills in three areas of golf’s main skills. Drive, Chip and Putt is an excellent program for juniors of all levels as participants have an opportunity to advance through local, subregional and regional qualifying to earn a place in the national finals that are conducted at Augusta National Golf Club on the Sunday before The Masters Tournament. Our Prep Clinic will be a great opportunity for juniors to test their skills and experience the Drive, Chip and Putt format before attempting to qualify at the local level. Our program will be run just like the local qualifier with scorecards, scoreboards, tee times, etc. so juniors get comfortable with the experience. In addition, coaching and instructions will be provided in the designated warm-up areas to assist juniors before or after the competition. Attire: Dress for the weather, but shorts, a golf shirt or nice T-shirt, cap and tennis shoes are appropriate for our clinic. And don’t forget sunscreen! Equipment needed: If you have golf clubs for your participant, please bring them. Otherwise, please contact us as a limited supply of loaner clubs are available. What’s included? Boys and girls ages 6-9 can learn to enjoy the game in a fun and social TEAM environment captained by PGA Professionals Eric Steger and Scott Steger. Students must their own clubs and no prior experience is required. There will be one, 90 minute practice per week, culminating in a 3 hole match to end the season in the exciting Jr. League scramble format. Team practices begin the first week of June and conclude the last week of July. Summer schedule TBD.

2026 Smart Golf Academy SGA+ 13U
The Smart Golf Academy’s 2026 SGA+ 13U PGA Jr. League & Training Program is the academy’s flagship program for intermediate & Advanced players that already have a solid foundations and want to take their game to the next level. The SGA+ Program led by Coach Guion, Coach Jackson and Jon Stutz, PGA is a year round member only program (Spring, Summer, Fall and Off-Season/Winter) that opens a limited number of spots to players outside its membership base only for the Summer PGA Jr. League. Players will train in 6x 90 minute training sessions each week and compete in 4x PGA Jr. League 2 person scramble formatted 9 hole matches. At the end of the Summer Training Program, the SGA+ All Star Teams will be hand picked to represent the Smart Golf Academy August 11th & 12th in the Indiana PGA Jr. League Sectional Tournament hosted at Pebble Brook Golf Club each year. If your junior is a beginner or new to the game, the SGA Jr. Program would be better fit which still has open spots this summer on the SGA website (www.smartgolfaca.com/2026sgajrsummerdevelopmentprogram). This program will take place at Douglass Golf Course May - July, 2026. Practices and matches will be announced soon. This league is designed for golfers ages 4-13 to have fun and learn more about golf. Most matches will be after noon on Sundays, depending on course schedules and weather. Practices will be at Douglass Golf Course. The matches will be played at golf courses throughout Indianapolis, IN. Some travel will be required. Within the cost each participant will be getting the PGA Jr League package. Scholarships are available, if needed.
