Oldfield 13U Competitive and Recreational PGA JR League Teams
Our Oldfield PGA Jr League Teams will provide a fun, educational and competitive atmosphere for developing junior golfers who fall into either a recreational skill level or a competitive skill level category. Oldfield will offer both a competitive league and a recreational league to best meet the needs of different skill-level golfers involved in our program. The competitive league is designed for more experienced junior golfers and will be an accelerated program focused on shooting lower scores and learning how to compete at a high level in junior golf. This will be more of an advanced class. There will be one or multiple post-season events that could require travel and possible overnight accomodations with this team. The recreational league will be designed for juniors who are either younger, newer to the game, or are currently at a more recreational pace in their junior golf journey. This group will be focused on fun, engagement, and mastering the fundamentals in order to have more fun and aspire to play more golf in the future. Practices for both leagues will feature games and drills designed to improve junior golfer's fundamentals and understanding of the game. Matches with neighboring clubs will give our team the opportunity to play at other local courses as well as to engage in friendly competition to learn how to win and lose in the spirit of the game of golf!
Oldfield 17U Competitive Team
Oldfield will be hosting it's first ever 17U PGA Jr League Team this summer. This league will give our 14-17-year old junior golfers the opportunity to compete in PGA Jr League practices and matches throughout the summer and in postseason events at the section, regional, and possibly event the national level. This class will be run as a college golf preparatory course with a focus on skill-building and shooting lower scores in a competitive setting.
