2026 Tumwater Valley PGA Junior League Summer Session 2

13u PGA Junior League Program Overview Our 13u program is designed to bring friends and families together around the game of golf. Led by PGA and LPGA Professionals, the league emphasizes sportsmanship, teamwork, and skill development in a low-pressure environment. How the Program Works The Format: All games are played in a two-person scramble. This allows players of different skill levels to support one another—both players tee off, the best shot is selected, and both play from that spot until the ball is holed. The Scoring: Instead of traditional stroke play, we use "Flag" scoring. A 9-hole match is divided into three 3-hole "flags." This keeps the energy high and gives teams multiple chances to win points throughout the day. The Competition: Teams compete against other local clubs in a friendly league structure. The focus is always on "performance vs. par" and having fun rather than high-stakes results. Post-Season Play: Competitive players may have the opportunity to be selected for the All-Star Team, which competes in regional and potentially national tournaments.

The Home Course Jr. League Summer Session 2

Welcome to the second session of The Home Course PGA Jr League. The program will run for 10 straight weeks with practices being held on Sundays from 4:30-5:30pm and matches being held on Thursday afternoons. The Home Course is a part of the South Puget Sound League and will be playing matches against other teams in the area (Tumwater Valley, Indian Summer and a possible 4th course). Playing on a prior PGA Junior League team or being in at least level 3 in Operation 36 is recommended but not a requirement. Team practices will be held at The Home Course with PGA Associates.

Whether you are just beginning or looking to get into a single digit handicap, I can help you get there! It is suggested to get the 3-Lesson package to really understand and implement the swing techniques that we teach you! Otherwise, we can start with just 1 lesson at a time and go from there!

On Course Playing Lesson

There is striking the golf ball well and shooting a low score. It is important to understand how to get around a golf course and avoid any unnecessary strokes from bad decisions. This 2 hour lesson, we will play 9 holes and I will let you know what you should be thinking in order to minimize your danger. Cost does NOT include the 9 hole greens fee.

3 Lesson Couples Private Instruction

This is a great way for 2 people to take lessons at the same time! You will get 3 - 1 hour lessons.

Coaching Series (5)

Choosing a coaching package is an investment in your development as a golfer. I am here to oversee your development and guide you on a path to achieving your goals, shooting lower scores and having more fun! During our 5 sessions together, we will improve your game working from the green back to the tee!

Swing Fundamentals

1, 3, or 5 lesson packages; $75, $200, or $300. Payment can be made at the first lesson. Lessons are 1 hour and scheduled for your convenience. Before the first lesson I interview you in able to customize the lessons to your specific needs. If you have friends I also do group lessons for 2, 3, or 4 golfers where we combine range sessions and course play. These are focused on lowering scores by targeting improvement on the areas of your game that are costing strokes.
