But that doesn't mean you can't get in on the action as well.

The Virtual PGA Championship on WGT Golf gives you the ability to play the course from the comfort of your couch while you sit back and watch the PGA Championship.

Here's what you need to know to get started:

1. Download the WGT Golf app from the Apple Store here or the Google Play store here

2. Register for the Virtual PGA Championship: You can find this under "Tournaments" in the game navigation.

You can play the course as many times as you'd like throughout the month of May to get the best score possible. When the virtual Championship is completed on May 31, the top 70 combined scores in each Pro-Tour Champion tier will split the 200,000 credit total purse prize.

This is open to all WGT players and you can see the complete rules for more details here.
