Tiger Woods score, updates from the 2019 PGA Championship

Tiger Woods is approaching history at the 2019 PGA Championship. A major winner again after his thrilling Masters triumph last month — his first major title in 11 years — Tiger is now one away from tying Sam Snead for most PGA Tour wins (82).

Tiger is also up to 15 majors, three short of Jack Nicklaus' record. Stay here all tournament as Tiger tries to add to his career highlights at Bethpage Black. On Thursday, Tiger shot 2-over.

Tiger Woods: Score, updates at the 2019 PGA Championship

1:33 p.m.: END OF ROUND 1, Tiger finishes 2-over at 72

Tiger got off to a decent start, but really struggled on the back nine. Take a look at his round.

1:17 p.m.: Tiger struggling

Now at 2-over through 17 holes, enduring a stretch of three bogeys in four holes. On a lighter note, here's this.

12:20 p.m.: BOGEY for Tiger, now even

Uncharacteristic miss for Tiger on the 14th green, where he three-putted. He's now even for the day as Brooks Koepka gets to 6-under.

12 p.m. : EAGLE for Tiger, now 1-under

Tiger has gone birdie-birdie-par-eagle since the turn and is suddenly 1-under for the round. That's his first eagle at Bethpage.

11:04 a.m.: Tiger gets one back, is 2-over

Tiger now has two birdies to match his two doubles thanks to his birdie on No. 1. Koepka also birdied the hole to maintain his spot on top.

10:54 a.m.: Tiger makes turn at 3-over

He has one of only two birdies on No. 15 today, but Tiger is still 3-over as he goes to the first tee. Koepka, though, is tied for the lead at 3-under.

10:30 a.m.: Another double for Tiger

He falls to 3-over through No. 17 after his second double bogey of the round.

10:05 a.m.: Tiger makes first birdie

Tiger is now 1-over after making a 15' 6" putt for birdie on 15. Matt Wallace leads at 3-under.

9:29 a.m.: Woods strings together pars, remains 2-over

Woods is still looking for his first birdie. After that double on No. 10 to start, he's gone par-par-par the next three, including the par-5 13. Still 2-over through No. 13.

8:40 a.m.: Double-bogey on No. 10

Koepka birdies to start his title defense. But Tiger and Molinari struggle, with double-bogey and bogey. Tiger can't keep missing the fairway on this course.
