Accompanied by the Wanamaker Trophy and Ryder Cup, PGA Championship Staff and Committee Members visited the New York Stock Exchange on Wednesday to celebrate both the 2019 PGA Championship and 2024 Ryder Cup coming to New York. Of the celebration, Championship Director, Scott Reid said, “With the 101st PGA Championship moving to May, it is only fitting that we start this new era by bringing the Championship back to the state of New York, where the PGA of America was founded in 1916 and where the very first PGA Championship was held that same year.”
Nearly one year from today, the 101st PGA Championship will be contested on the Black Course at Bethpage State Park, and just this week, ticket registration for the May event officially opened. Fans interested in attending should visit PGAChampionship.com to reserve their place in line to purchase tickets when they go on sale this August. In advance of what will be one of the most coveted tickets in all of sport, the PGA of America will offer exclusive access to 2024 Ryder Cup tickets with select 2019 PGA Championship ticket offerings.
Next year’s event will be held May 13-19.
