How much are Branden Grace's wedges worth?

 

So, Branden Grace, how did you win the RBC Heritage? "I think my chipping and my wedge play were superb today," Grace said Sunday night after rallying to win his first PGA Tour title after seven wins on the European Tour.

 

He's right, too. According to the PGA Tour stats, 42 percent of his strokes gained for the week came from his short game. He ranked in the top six in short-game play after three of his four rounds at Harbour Town, and finished with a seven-birdie 66 to win by two.

Grace knocked it close all week with a trio of Mack Daddy 2 wedges from Callaway Golf. Crafted by Chief Club Designer Roger Cleveland, they're forged from soft carbon steel for enhanced feel and feature expanded grooves for more spin. 

 

The 5V groove pattern features grooves 39 percent larger than previous models that create 25 percent more spin out of the rough. The faces boast Callaway's Lasered Micro Groove for added roughness and spin, and they come in either a Chrome or Slate finish. They also offer three custom sole grinds – Grace's wedges have the Tour Grind.

The Callaway Mack Daddy 2 wedges made their debut at retail in 2013 with a suggested retail price of $150 per club. They currently have an estimated trade-in value of $21.62 and an estimated resale value of $48.04 per club, according to the PGA.com Value Guide and Trade-in Network.
