15 longest drives on the PGA Tour since 2010

Golf is in the age of the long ball.

Thanks to technology and the work players put in on their physique, we're seeing booming drives week in and week out on the PGA Tour.

Sure, the perfectly manicured courses help, but there's something about seeing a player hit driver-sand wedge into a par-5 hole that just makes the jaw drop.

With all the incredibly smashed drives, we got to wondering: What are the longest drives on Tour over the last several years?

Here, we take a look at the 15 longest drives dating back to 2010.

Interesting observation: Of the 26 drives in the top 15 since 2010 (there are many ties), 19 of them came on two holes. There were 13 on the 16th hole at Firestone in the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational and six on the seventh hole at Kapalua's Plantation Course in the Tournament of Champions.

15. 422 yards

On the 12th hole in the third round of the 2018 Tournament of Champions, Xander Schauffele knocked his drive 422 yards.

14. 423 yards

Kevin Kisner and Grayson Murray each recorded 423-yard pokes on Kapalua's seventh hole in the second round of the 2018 Tournament of Champions.

13. 424 yards

Since 2010, four players on the PGA Tour have recorded 424-yard drives. Even though all four drives came in four different years, two apiece were on the same hole.

Steve Stricker was first to hit that mark. He did so on the seventh hole in the second round of the Tournament of Champions at Kapalua's Plantation Course.

Next was Bubba Watson in 2014 on the 16th hole at Firestone in the third round of the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational.

In 2017, Scott Hend matched Watson's drive on No. 16 at Firestone in the first round of the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational.

Finally, Jhonattan Vegas delivered his 424-yard drive on No. 7 at Kapalua in Round 3 of the 2018 Tournament of Champions.

12. 425 yards

On Firestone's 16th hole in the 2012 WGC-Bridgestone Invitational, Joost Luiten bombed a 425-yard drive.

11. 426 yards

Ian Poulter enjoyed a 426-yard drive in the 2013 Tournament of Champions on the 12th hole at Kapalua's Plantation Course.

10. 427 yards

In 2012, Bubba Watson hammered a 427-yard drive on the 12th hole at Kapalua's Plantation Course in the first round of the Tournament of Champions.

Later in the season, Branden Grace matched that number with his drive on the 16th hole at Firestone in the first round of the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational.

9. 428 yards

Kyle Stanley was the first of three players to turn in a 428-yard drive since 2010. Stanley popped his on No. 7 at Kapalua's Plantation Course in the second round of the Tournament of Champions.

Bernd Wiesberger matched that number in 2015 with his drive at Firestone's 16th hole in the final round of the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational.

Finally, in 2017, Dustin Johnson had a 428-yard blast on Kapalua's 18th hole in the final round of the Tournament of Champions.

8. 429 yards

On the 16th hole in Round 3 of the 2012 WGC-Bridgestone Invitational at Firestone, Kyle Stanley hit his drive a whopping 429 yards.

7. 430 yards

Louis Oosthuizen, winner of the 2010 Open Championship at St. Andrews, cracked a 430-yard drive on Firestone's 16th hole in the third round of the 2012 WGC-Bridgestone Invitational.

Earlier this year, Dustin Johnson and Hudson Swafford matched that 430-yard number with drives at the Tournament of Champions at Kapalua's Plantation Course. Johnson's poke came on the 12th hole in the final round, while Swafford smashed his on the seventh hole in Round 3.

6. 433 yards

In 2017, Hudson Swafford had a 433-yard knock on the 16th hole at Firestone in the first round of the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational.

5. 435 yards

Adam Scott smoked a 435-yard drive on Firestone's 16th hole in the second round of the 2017 WGC-Bridgestone Invitational. It was the second-longest drive recorded on the PGA Tour in 2017, but it wasn't even the longest in that tournament...

4. 439 yards

In 2017, Dustin Johnson crushed a 439-yard drive on the 16th hole at Firestone in the first round of the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational -- four yards longer than Scott's drive the next day.

3. 442 yards

Twice in the same tournament in 2012, on the same hole in two different rounds, the third-longest driving distance since 2010 was recorded. Keegan Bradley hit that 442 mark first on the 16th hole at Firestone in the second round of the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational. Bubba Watson matched that feat a day later on the same hole in Round 3.

2. 450 yards

In 2012, Gary Woodland hit a drive 450 yards on the par-5 18th hole at Kapalua's Plantation Course in the first round of the Tournament of Champions.

In 2013, Phil Mickelson matched that distance with his drive on the 17th hole at Doral in the first round of the WGC-Cadillac Championship.

1. 463 yards

The longest drive recorded on the PGA Tour since 2010 belongs – no surprise – to Dustin Johnson. The 2016 U.S. Open champion is perennially one of the longest drivers on the PGA Tour. This particular drive came on the seventh hole at TPC Boston in the final round of the 2011 Deutsche Bank Championship.
