Junior golfer caddies for Phil Mickelson at Dell Technologies Pro-Am

Phil Mickelson kept his promise.

A year ago at TPC Boston at the Dell Technologies Championship, Mickelson asked a junior golfer how he should play at shot on No. 18. Riley said to go for it. After taking his advice and the shot, Mickelson said Riley could caddie for him anytime.

Sure enough, Riley got his chance in 2018 when Mickelson returned to Boston. Riley was Mickelson's caddie during the Dell Technologies Championship Pro-Am.

Here are some highlights from Phil and Riley:

"Tim (Mickelson, Phil's brother) needs a break. So you came at the perfect time." -- Phil

"You got to talk smack, you got to say, 'You sure you hit driver?' You know, something like that." -- Phil

"Part of his job is keeping me hydrated, but he doesn't do that too well." -- Riley

"I can already tell I'm a much better caddie than my dad."

Along with talking Riley through his thought process before a shot, Mickelson signed a glove for Riley.

Mickelson also wanted Riley to stay close by in case he's needed more this weekend.
