NBA MVP candidate Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors sat down recently with NBA TV's Ahmad Rashad to discuss, among other things, his golf game.

CONGRATULATIONS: Curry receives Bettinardi putter for NBA All-Star selection

During a segment on NBA TV's One-On-One with MVP candidates, Curry -- who doesn't get to play much during the basketball season -- admitted he's a scratch golfer when he plays frequently. And when asked to choose his "dream foursome," here were Curry's three picks:

  • Tiger Woods
  • President Barack Obama
  • Michael Jordan

"I've been on the same course with MJ," Curry said during the interview. "But never actually played with him. Those other two guys, they obviously could probably tell some great stories about their journeys.

DAYDREAM BELIEVER: Curry thinks about golf at his real job

"I probably wouldn't be able to focus on my game with all the storytelling going on in that group."

Rashad -- who worked at the Golf Channel and Back 9 Network -- was suitably impressed with Curry's choices.

"That may be the best group I've ever heard," Rashad said.
