Breaking Down Tiger Woods' Pre-Shot Routine

Published on

Tiger Woods is undoubtedly one of the greatest golfers of all-time. Woods will be seeking his fifth PGA Championship and 16th major this weekend at TPC Harding Park.
One area of Woods' game that may go unnoticed is the consistency in his pre-shot routine over the years. Through swing changes and coach changes, Woods' pre-shot routine and address to the ball before his shot have stood the test of time.
Andre Pillow, an instructor at Blythefield Country Club and the founder of DNA Golf Instruction has studied Woods through the years, so he sent us a breakdown of how the process allows Woods to mentally approach each shot... And while we don't expect you to create a pre-shot routine & start striping it like Woods, adding consistency in your game should help you make strides.
So check out the video from Andre below & be sure to give him a follow on Instagram and Facebook for more great golf coaching.
