On the Green: In Heavy Winds, Accelerate to the Ball, Not Through the Ball

Blustery winds were the talk of the town in Tulsa on Friday morning at Southern Hills Country Club.
Sustained winds of 25 miles per hour and gusts nearing 40 challenged the game’s best in the fairway and on the green.
The PGA of America even announced that due to the forecasted high winds, all practice and golf course putting greens would not be mown today.
So, how can you use the blustery conditions to your advantage on the putting green the next time you tee it up?
PGA Coach Gavin Parker shared a few tips that you can take to the course.
