Hello Parents,
What a Winter!  I am very excited to launch the 2023 season of Ponderosa PGA Jr League.  The new “Skills Development Team” will stay primary at Ponderosa and be focused on game improvement and education, with a progression towards on-course play.  We will focus on the FUNdamentals, etiquette/rules of the game, and overall athletic skills that transfer to the course.  All are welcome and will benefit from this program.  There is no experience needed for the team.  Equipment will be provided although having a set of proper fitting clubs is encouraged.  The full schedule is still TBD, but coaching sessions will likely be Tuesday afternoons starting at 4/5pm.  Expect 1 session a week for 9-10 weeks of the summer June – mid August.

4.	To provide a steppingstone for progression into competition 

Sign-ups are open now! (link to sign up) Please pass this email along to all friends and family with kids 6-14.   The total fee for the program is $299. This fee includes two personalized polo home/away jerseys, hat/visor, swag kit from the PGA ($99) and a $200 coaching fee.

Ponderosa PGA Jr League (Skills Development)

Del Paso Country Club 13u PGA Junior League

**PGA HOPE is the flagship military program of the PGA of America. PGA HOPE is designed to introduce golf to Veterans and Active Duty Military to support their social, emotional, and physical well being.**

Join PGA HOPE alongside your fellow Veterans and Servicemembers. PGA HOPE has served thousands of Veterans and Servicemembers across the United States through one of our 300+ locations.

This introductory program is designed to welcome those of all ages, branches and eras of service, genders, and abilities to the golf course and share in camaraderie and fun together as a group. During this session you will learn the basics from grip to 9 holes of golf from PGA and LPGA Professionals.

- No golf equipment is required. If you do have clubs and/or any specialty equipment, please bring them with you.
- No prior golf experience necessary
- No VA disability rating required
- Veterans do not have to have combat or deployments in order to participate
- All expenses associated with PGA HOPE are covered

Players ages 9-15 are invited to join our SV Golf coaching staff at San Ramon Golf Club to improve their game, compete, and make memories. Practices will be on Wednesdays from 4pm-5:30pm each week and games (9-hole scramble tournaments) are on Sundays at 3:00pm. Most skill levels are welcome but this is not a program for absolute beginners. Players must have golf experience or have been to one of our camps or junior academy programs. The price includes six practice sessions, six team matches (no game on Easter), and an end-of-season championship against our Shoreline Golf Links (Mountain View) teams. The season runs September 11th (1st practice) through October 22nd (end of the season championship). The registration cutoff is September 22nd.

San Ramon GC PGA Jr. League (Fall Season #1)

Players ages 9-15 are invited to join our SV Golf coaching staff at Shoreline Golf Links to improve their game, compete, and make memories. Practices will be on Mondays, Tuesdays or Wednesdays each week from 4pm-5:30pm and games (9-hole scramble tournaments) are on Sundays at 4:00pm. The exact schedule will be announced in August. Most skill levels are welcome but this is not a program for absolute beginners. Players must have golf experience or have been to one of our camps or junior academy programs.
