Apex Short Game Series (Wednesday #1 Cohort)

Over One-Third of Golf Takes Place within Short Game Shots Around the Greens

And even though we hit so many shots around the greens, we struggle to get up-and-down. In spite of our struggles, we still never practice our technique with short game shots. Well, we are here to change that.

Stop Doing the Same Thing Over and Over, Expecting Different Results

In the Apex Short Game Series, we teach you the key facets to getting up-and-down more consistently so that you can lower your scores. One of the most important tenets in golf is controlling how far the ball goes, and in this series, we learn the four major factors that determine how far the ball goes, and how to master them.

First, Centeredness of Hit: in this series we teach you the secret to more consistent ball striking. Second, Length of Swing: learn to control this factor and leave yourself shorter putts for par. Third, Pace of Swing: your Pace should be consistent, and if yours varies wildly, your consistency will also. Last, Loft: become a master of one and learn how to control the trajectory of your golf ball with just one club.

Whether you're a seasoned player striving to break through a plateau or a new or beginner golfer looking to establish a solid short game, the Apex Short Game Series is designed to help you reach your goals.

3 Hours of Group Instruction Includes:

  • Learn the secret to more consistent ball striking.

  • Learn how to hit the ball higher and put backspin on your short game shots.

  • Learn how to control how the far the ball goes more consistently.

  • Learn to become a master of one and hit different trajectory shots with just one club.

  • Learn how the Pros make a plan to See It, Feel It, and Do it.

  • 1:4 or less Instructor to Golfer ratio.

Curriculum

  • Week 1: Short Game with a Sand Wedge? Understanding why it's important to use the Sand Wedge. What makes the ball go in the air and the secret to hitting the sweet spot more consistently. The first 3 factors that determine how far the ball goes: Centeredness of Hit, Length of Swing, and Pace of Swing. The timing of the downswing. Learning how to engage our whole body (right side vs. left side). Finally, why keeping your head down/keeping your eye on the ball is making you worse.

  • Week 2: The fourth factor that determines how far the ball goes: Loft. How to change Loft and see a difference in ball flight. How the Pros make a plan vs. how amateurs make a plan. Go-to shots and how to practice to expand your skillset. Play one hole.

All you will need is your sand wedge for Day 1. On Day 2, we will play one hole, so come prepared! Friends, family and junior golfers are welcome!
