Camp North Star – Four-Session Player Development Program

This Junior Golf Camp is designed as a four-session developmental program that introduces young golfers to all major areas of the game in a fun, structured, and supportive environment. Each session focuses on a key component of golf, building skills progressively while reinforcing fundamentals, confidence, and enjoyment of the game.

Session 1: Putting

• Location: Putting Green by the Pro ShopJuniors develop essential putting skills including setup, stroke mechanics, distance control, and basic green reading. Fun competitive games are used to reinforce learning while building confidence on the greens.

Session 2: Short Game

• Location: Putting Green by the Pro ShopThis session focuses on chipping and pitching techniques from around the green. Players learn proper setup, club selection, and simple shot-making strategies to improve touch, control, and scoring from 100 yards and in.

Session 3: Fundamentals

• Location: Fenn Park Practice FacilityCamp begins with the core fundamentals of golf, including grip, stance, posture, alignment, and basic swing concepts. Juniors learn how these building blocks create consistency and set the foundation for long-term improvement.

Session 4: Full Swing

• Location: Fenn Park Practice FacilityThe final session applies fundamentals to the full swing with irons and tee shots. Emphasis is placed on solid contact, balance, and producing consistent ball flight, while encouraging athletic movement and confidence.

Throughout the camp, instruction is age and skill-appropriate to ensure a positive learning environment. The goal of the program is to develop sound fundamentals, improve scoring skills, and foster a lifelong enjoyment of the game of golf.
