CURE MY SLICE!-(2 Sessions)

Cure My Slice!!

Having worked with golfers for many years, I know that one of the most feared, most hated, most discouraging, and most desirable words to banish from the golf vocabulary is the word “Slice!” Why? Simply because anyone who is plagued with the affliction has determined to get rid of it or give up the game. I’ve seen slices that could certainly convince a would-be golfer to take up chess, or tennis, or fishing, or anything that could make that horrible image leave his or her memory and existence.

A golfer afflicted with a slice has to make sure the they have enough golf balls just to make it back to the clubhouse, sometimes even before they finish the first nine holes. Recently, a golfer I know said to me with a real sense of accomplishment that he just played a round without losing a golf ball! Of course slicing is not the only way to lose a golf ball, but it is without a doubt one of the major causes of lost balls! Now that I have your attention, how would you like to get rid of your slice and relegate it to the dustbin of your memory? I would like to help you do just that!

Starting in October, I will be hosting a two session clinic that will teach you how to eliminate that affliction from your game. You will learn 1) what causes slices in general, 2) what causes your slice in particular, and 3) a formula to eliminate your slice. If you have been a slicer for a good while, obviously it will take some effort on your part but you’ll have the information, the tools, and the techniques to end your slice. Clinic Details: In the first clinic, all participants will receive an explanation and visual evidence of the causes of the slice as well as a personal video swing analysis that shows visually why they slice and how they can go about stopping it. Two weeks later, participants will have had an opportunity to apply and practice the remedy to their swing. After the second clinic, each participant will receive another swing analysis demonstrating the progress they have made.

Optional Bonus: For an additional cost, in February of 2026, after each participant has had several months to work on the drills and changes necessary to eliminate the “bane of their golfing existence,” each participant will get another swing analysis to determine their progress and will receive more help to improve their game if still necessary. Cost of the clinic: $300 (paid prior to the first clinic) for two 90-minute October clinics and an additional $150 (payable in February) for those who choose to attend the February clinic.

Times, Dates, and Location of the clinic: 1:30 to 3 p.m.; October 11th and 25th; Golf Club of Texas; 13600 Briggs Ranch; San Antonio, TX 78245
