GNLGA - Fairway Woods & Hybrids
GNLGA - Fairway Woods & Hybrids
Build confidence with your fairway woods and hybrids and learn how to use these versatile clubs more effectively on the golf course. This clinic focuses on creating more consistent contact, improving launch, and understanding when and where to use each club.
Players will learn how proper setup, ball position, posture, and club delivery influence contact and ball flight. We’ll also discuss the differences between fairway woods and hybrids, how the lie should influence club and shot selection, and when choosing a shorter club may be the smarter play.
The goal is to make longer shots from the fairway and light rough less intimidating while developing a more reliable approach to advancing the ball toward the target.
Topics include: • Setup and ball position • Creating consistent contact from the turf • Improving launch and ball flight • Fairway wood vs. hybrid technique • Understanding carry distance • Club selection based on lie and situation • Using hybrids from fairway and light rough • Practice drills for improved confidence and consistency
