GNLGA - Full Swing Essentials & Pre-Shot Routine
Full Swing Essentials & Pre-Shot Routine — Build a More Repeatable Swing
Develop a stronger foundation for your full swing while creating a simple pre-shot routine you can rely on both on the practice range and the golf course. This clinic focuses on the essential elements that influence solid contact, consistency, and ball flight without making the golf swing overly complicated.
Players will work through the fundamentals of grip, posture, alignment, ball position, balance, and swing motion while learning how each can influence contact and shot direction. We’ll then connect those fundamentals to a consistent pre-shot routine designed to improve preparation, target awareness, alignment, and commitment before every shot.
The goal is to help each player develop a better understanding of her own swing and a repeatable process that makes it easier to take what she practices on the range to the golf course.
Topics include: • Grip, posture and athletic setup • Ball position and alignment • Balance and swing fundamentals • Developing more consistent contact • Understanding basic ball flight • Target selection and visualization • Building a simple pre-shot routine • Practice swings with a purpose • Taking your routine from the range to the course
