This clinic is designed to help golfers safely and effectively work towards increasing swing speed for more distance, using a combination of proven training systems, technology, and athletic movement drills. Players will learn how to create more clubhead speed without sacrificing balance, control, or accuracy. The clinic utilizes TrackMan to establish baseline swing and ball speed metrics and to measure progress throughout the session. Golfers will gain a clear understanding of how speed influences carry distance, launch conditions, and overall scoring potential. TrackMan data such as club speed, ball speed, smash factor, and dispersion will be used to ensure speed gains translate into playable performance. Participants will be guided through structured speed training protocols as well as proper warm-up routines, swing intent, rest intervals, and sequencing to maximize speed gains while minimizing injury risk. Additional swing speed drills and athletic exercises will focus on: Ground force utilization and pressure shift Efficient kinematic sequencing Wrist and arm speed Rotational mobility and stability Players will also learn how speed training fits into a weekly practice plan, when to train for speed versus technique, and how to blend speed sessions with regular golf practice and on-course play. The clinic emphasizes long-term development, not just short-term gains. Each golfer will leave with a clear understanding of their current speed profile, safe training guidelines, and actionable drills they can continue to use to build speed, improve distance, and enhance overall performance.
