Trace Junior Golf Matches (9 holes walking)

“The Junior Player’s Program” at Carolina Trace CC is designed with incentives for each player to reach their next level of ability.

Each youngster is playing from her or his appropriate distance with the goal to score 36 on 9 holes. Mentally, the key to these matches lies in the challenge the developing golfer faces, yet does not destroy their spirit.

Playing distances are earned through competitions or training sessions with Coach André… For the new comers with little experience, the player aims to score 36 shots total on 9 holes from 25 yards. Once accomplished, they can advance to 50 yards.

Mechanically, this platform approach developes the short game and scoring ability whil improving the consistency of solid ball striking.

This progression mechanically and mentally teaches the golfer that the next level is not too far away and shooting even par is in the player's future, with enough effort, time and training.

Golfers walk during the match. Pull carts are recommended. If you would like a pull cart and do not have one, contact Coach André ASAP 941-350-2999.

Parents may use a golf cart to watch their children. The pro shop will rent a cart to you for only $10.
