**PGA HOPE is the flagship military program of the PGA of America. PGA HOPE is designed to introduce golf to Veterans and Active Duty Military to support their social, emotional, and physical well being.**

Join PGA HOPE alongside your fellow Veterans and Servicemembers. PGA HOPE has served thousands of Veterans and Servicemembers across the United States through one of our 300+ locations.

This introductory program is designed to welcome those of all ages, branches and eras of service, genders, and abilities to the golf course and share in camaraderie and fun together as a group. During this session you will learn the basics from grip to 9 holes of golf from PGA and LPGA Professionals.

- No golf equipment is required. If you do have clubs and/or any specialty equipment, please bring them with you.
- No prior golf experience necessary
- No VA disability rating required
- Veterans do not have to have combat or deployments in order to participate
- All expenses associated with PGA HOPE are covered

PGA HOPE Northfield - Session 1

Come and join our nationally recognized program by the PGA of America as one of the best in the country! Prestwick’s 2026 spring program will be an in-house league and run over 6 weeks. We will start on April 23rd with our first practice and wrap up with our last match on May 31st. Practices will be held on Thursday nights from 6:30-7:45 working on the three main aspects of the game. Full swing, chipping/pitching and putting. Instruction will be led by our PGA professionals and Director of Instruction! 

Our matches will be played on Sunday evenings and will go off in tee time format. Our matches will start at 5:00 and tee times will go off every 9 minutes. If you need any accommodation for tee times each week please let us know! The format for matches will be groups of 2 or 3 players playing a scramble against another team. All matches will be played on the front 9 at Prestwick. A formal schedule and practice calendar will be passed out to each parent at the first practice containing all start times. The listing for our program is titled 13U but the age range we accept is 6 to 15. 

Our goal is to offer an atmosphere that everyone will enjoy and get better! All match pairings are put together by grouping kids of similar age and skill level! Whether you are an advanced junior golfer or just getting into the game, everyone can have fun and get better. At the end of each match everyone will meet inside the clubhouse for pizza, lemonade and the scoreboard! It is encouraged that your child(ren) have played golf on a course before joining the program and you walk or ride along during the matches to watch. 

At the end of our last match we will have a variety of prizes and awards to hand out! The top three points earners from our matches, the person who hits the most range balls for practice during our spring session and anyone who shows up to all six matches will get a prize.

Prestwick Spring PGA Jr. League 2026

Traveling is back for the 2026 season! Matches will be played against other
PGA Junior League teams with traveling and hosted matches.
PGA Junior League is a team-based youth golf league designed to introduce
golfers to competitive golf in a fun, low-pressure environment. Juniors will
learn how to compete, develop golf skills, and enjoy the game through team
play rather than individual stroke-play pressure. The format of the league is a
two-player scramble.

The Minneapolis Golf Club 13U PGA Jr. League Team offers juniors the opportunity to engage in entry level competitive golf while having fun in a low-pressure environment.  There will be practices during the season to focus on fundamentals and on-course etiquette.  The team will play a minimum of 5 matches (Home & Away).  The format for matches is a 2-player scramble.  

Minneapolis Golf Club PGA Jr. League

Burl Buddies is a junior golf program based out of Burl Oaks in Minnitrista Minnesota.  Our program runs from May through August and play matches against Windsong Farm and The Lafayette club.

Boys and girls ages 8-13 are invited to join the PGA Jr. League program at Detroit Country Club with practices at Lakeview. I will be looking for 10-12 juniors to form our team. If there is a large interest, I will take as many as 24 juniors and form two teams to coach. Registration is now OPEN on the PGA Junior League website. Search for Detroit Country Club to register. The cost of the program is $269. We will be in a league with area golf courses in Fargo with nine hole matches being played at courses in the Fargo area as well as a match at DCC.

PGA HOPE Minnewaska - Session 1

NEW for 2026...9u for ages 4-9 (no 9U championship season). Scramble format, match play. Rules adjusted for learning and parent involvement (caddying) is highly recommended. This is a playing league and all instruction will be pre-round and in-round. Six-6 hole events will take place on Monday or Tuesday evenings between Memorial Day and 3M Open from skill & age appropriate tees.

PGA HOPE Chaska - Session 1

PGA Junior League is a fun and social way to learn golf and play in a relaxed competitive atmosphere.  Each week there is a practice led by our Golf Professionals to help each player improve their game.  Then, on Sunday late afternoons, the kids play in a team format against kids from other area golf courses.  The format is a 2 person scramble playing 3-3 hole matches against the other team.  The format is a great way for kids to learn to work together and enjoy competing.  The competition is pretty relaxed.  The focus is on enjoying playing golf and learning a little.

We hope to have a U13 team and a U17 Team.  We need 8 players for each.    Practices will be Wednesday mornings at 8am for 90 minutes.  Practices which will include range work and on course practice.  All players will get a jersey, hat, dozen balls, bag tag, and more.  The season will run from early June until the middle of July.  Cost is $350 and is open to members and non-members.  Grandparents, get your grandkids involved!
