Anderson Creek - Fall League
Fall PGA Jr. League at Anderson Creek Golf Club Join us this fall for another exciting season of PGA Jr. League at Anderson Creek Golf Club! Registration is now open, with registration closing in mid-August, and our first practice begins Wednesday, September 2nd. The Fall PGA Jr. League has a slightly different feel than our spring season while still providing the same fun, team-oriented experience players have come to love. The fall season features more of an "in-house" atmosphere, allowing players to continue developing their games in a relaxed, competitive, and enjoyable environment. Throughout the season, teams will participate in exhibition matches against neighboring clubs, including Kings Grant and Country Club of North Carolina, giving players the opportunity to compete while continuing to build confidence and experience on the golf course. Whether your junior golfer is returning for another season or joining PGA Jr. League for the first time, this is a fantastic opportunity to improve their skills, make new friends, and experience golf in a fun team setting. Weekly Schedule Wednesdays — Practice Day Our Wednesday practices will focus on player development and getting the team ready for Game Day. Players will work on: Full swing and short game development Putting and scoring Course management and strategy Team games and competitions On-course skills and situational play Preparing for upcoming matches Sunday Afternoons — Game Day 🏆 Sunday afternoons are when we take it to the course! Players will compete in PGA Jr. League matches, working together as a team while developing their competitive skills and learning how to handle different situations on the golf course. PGA HOPE is designed to introduce golf to Veterans and Active Duty Military to support their social, emotional, and physical well being. Club / Ball Fitting
I can currently do fitting for the following Mizuno products: woods, irons, wedges and putter. Once we complete your fitting, I can get your clubs ordered the same day.
Distance Wedges Skill Development
Turn your wedges in weapons to slash your score. Learn how to control launch, spin, and distance. Typically 30-80 yards for most players but for elite players can reach out to 150 yards.
Full Swing Evolution
We will assess your movement patterns and then apply them to create a golf swing that is uniquely yours. From the fundamental of setup to shot shaping covering irons to driver.
On Course Scoring Synthesis
A practical and game oriented learning experience teaching you how to play the game better. We will get out on the golf course and work on course strategy, decision making and shot making. This is where a bulk of the learning experiences you participate in should occur. We play the game on the golf course so we need to be learning on the golf course, not just on the practice facilities. These sessions will help me identify areas of your game we need to focus on and refine in other sessions.
Performance Assessments
I have a growing number of performance assessments. We will not be able to complete all of them in one session due to time. 1 and 2 are commonly done together and 3, 4, and 5 is another good combination for one session, but we can do other combinations. Performance Assessment Options TPI Level 1 - Think how you move and how well move TPI Level 2 Fitness - how you create power (speed x strength) 3D MAPS - MAPS stands for "Movement Analysis and Performance System" - this is more comprehensive than the TPI assessments and will show how well you move away from the golf course as well VitalScanHRV - determines the level of stress and load that your Autonomic Nervous System is currently under Visual/Perception testing - from TPI to determine if you eyes and/or your brain's interpretation of what you see is faulty. Once we have completed your assessments, we will discuss a plan for addressing any issues we discover.
Performance Preparation
Now that you have completed your assessments, it's time to get to work. If you have not completed the necessary assessments, you are not ready for this step. Sign up for assessments first. We can't try to fix something if we haven't identified the root cause. Attacking pain or discomfort is like trying to put out a fire by spraying water on the smoke. If we identified something in your TPI or 3DMAPS assessments, choose physical below. Based on what we identified, I will use one of the options below or combine them. If your VitalScan identified elevated stress levels, choose mental.
