**PGA HOPE is the flagship military program of the PGA of America. PGA HOPE is designed to introduce golf to Veterans and Active Duty Military to support their social, emotional, and physical well being.**

Join PGA HOPE alongside your fellow Veterans and Servicemembers. PGA HOPE has served thousands of Veterans and Servicemembers across the United States through one of our 300+ locations.

This introductory program is designed to welcome those of all ages, branches and eras of service, genders, and abilities to the golf course and share in camaraderie and fun together as a group. During this session you will learn the basics from grip to 9 holes of golf from PGA and LPGA Professionals.

- No golf equipment is required. If you do have clubs and/or any specialty equipment, please bring them with you.
- No prior golf experience necessary
- No VA disability rating required
- Veterans do not have to have combat or deployments in order to participate
- All expenses associated with PGA HOPE are covered

PGA HOPE Valatie

In 2025, PGA Junior League at Mohawk Golf Club will have an on-course element incorporated each week! The par 3 course has 9 holes with various elevation changes, which will be a great asset to teach junior golfers etiquette, course management, how to keep score and a feel for the rules of the game! This program is suited for Junior golfers ages 4-13.

2025 PGA Junior League at Mohawk Golf Club

This program is great for juniors ages 9 to 13 (All Stars limited to 10-13 years of age as of July 31, 2025) with some golf experience who are looking to start or continue to play competitively.
They should be able to play with minimal assistance for club and ball selection and complete 9 holes in under 3 hours with a goal of a 2 person scramble completing in 2 hours by the end of the summer.  

The program will continue to develop and improve their golf skills as well as learn on course etiquette and skills.  Practices will on Tuesdays starting June 3rd in the late afternoon/early evening with matches being held each weekend starting the weekend of June 28th through August 17th.  Practices starting in July will be for 2 hours with 1 hour of instruction and drills and an hour of on course play to follow. Most matches for this level will be in-house at Brookhaven with a few off site matches potentially.


Brookhaven 13U Advanced

Great opportunity for a junior who has aged out or is looking to play more competitively golf in a enjoyable environment.  No on course experience is needed prior to joining.

We will have practice Tuesday evening starting in June.  Beginning the week of June 29th practice will be for 2 hours (1 of Instruction, 1 of playing) with matches beginning the weekend of June 28th with 1 match each weekend through August 17th.  Most matches will be at Brookhaven with a few potentially at other courses dependent on scheduling.

We are an in house league running during July and August. All practices and matches will be held here at Glens Falls CC. Practice and match schedule will be posted as we get closer to the start of golf season.

PGA Instruction with 2 days of Practice and Playing

Country Club of Wilbraham 17 and Under

Country Club of Wilbraham is a open PGA Jr League open to any juniors.

Country Club of Wilbraham 13 and Under

The Tuesday Night League will start January 28 and end April 1 with 2 sessions each Tuesday from 6:00-8:00 and 8:00-10:00.  This years league will run for 10 weeks and cost $225 per person.  Please register below.  As we have in the past, makeups will be available should you have to miss a week.
League Rules:

* 9 holes played each week in a Stableford Quota format.  Players will receive 1 point for a bogey, 2 points for a par, 4 points for a birdie, 8 points for an eagle.  Handicap will be based on prior play and change weekly based on performance.  New participants will start as a 12 quota and change will not be restricted till after week 3.  Quotas will not change more that 3 points weekly.
* Courses will change weekly and be announced the week before.  Practice rounds are encouraged throughout the week.
* Preferred lies are encouraged on the mats.
