Buffalo Dunes Bomberz 9u

PGA Junior League is a fun, team-based golf program designed to introduce boys and girls ages 8–17 to the game in a supportive and engaging environment. Led by PGA of America Professionals, the program combines expert coaching with a welcoming atmosphere that helps young players develop skills, confidence, and a lifelong love for golf.
Unlike traditional individual competition, PGA Junior League brings a team format to the course. Players wear numbered jerseys, compete in a scramble format, and work together to score points in matches against other local teams. This structure encourages camaraderie, sportsmanship, and collaboration while reducing pressure and maximizing enjoyment.
Each season includes structured practices focused on skill development—covering fundamentals such as grip, stance, swing mechanics, short game, rules, and course etiquette—followed by organized matches. Coaches emphasize character development, teamwork, and respect both on and off the course.
PGA Junior League is ideal for beginners learning the game for the first time as well as more experienced junior golfers looking to compete in a positive team setting. With a focus on fun, inclusion, and development, the program provides a clear pathway for continued growth in golf.

Junior Golf program for juniors ages 9 to 13

Elmwood Juniors 9 to 13 

Lubbock Country Club is excited to announce the 2026 PGA Jr League sessions. Session one will consists of four practices and four matches. This league will be an in-house league where the team will compete against each other. It will be geared toward beginners and those who would like to gain some on course experience. All practices and matches will be held at Lubbock Country Club.

Practice Dates: 5:30-7PM
6/2, 6/3, 6/11 & 6/18

Match Dates: 5:30-8:00PM
6/9, 6/16, 6/23 & 6/25

End of Session Banquet: 
6/30, 5:00-6:30pm @1921


LCC In-House PGA Jr League (June)

Lubbock Country Club is excited to announce PGA Jr league for 2026. This session will be our multi-facility league and will focus on matches with the surrounding golf courses and country clubs. Players who are looking for a more competitive environment should enjoy this session, as we will be competing against neighboring clubs and courses. There will be between 4-6 matches scheduled, and 2-4 practices. On course experience is recommended but not necessary. If you have any questions please reach out to Coach Jacob in the golf shop. All practices and matches will be held at 5:30PM at Lubbock Country Club. Matches will also be held at 5:30PM, and will be hosted by Lubbock Country Club or Lakeridge Country Club. 

Practice Dates: 5:30-7PM
