We’d say Jordan Spieth experienced every golfer’s frustration on Monday, but 99.9 percent of golfers couldn’t play as well as Spieth did on Labor Day.
The 24-year-old Texan was brilliant on the first nine holes – he wasn’t bad on the back nine, but didn’t have much luck. Watch this near-make on 16, which would have been miraculous:

Similar story on 17, though he didn’t need as much of a break as he got on 16. Still, he needed something.

For the second week in a row, Spieth fell just short of victory. However, once again, he played some fantastic golf.
