Every year at The Player Championship, we see some big numbers put up on No. 17. But it's not often that we see an entire group find water.
That was the case for Zac Blair, Tyrone Van Aswegen and Blayne Barber.
Each of them put their first tee shots in the water. Blair, however, channeled his inner "Tin Cup" and stayed at the tee determined to put one on. Next shot? In the water. Third attempt? In the water. Finally, he took his fourth attempt from the drop zone, found dry land, and finished with a nine.
Van Aswegen escaped with just a bogey and Barber carded a double bogey. The splash count for the tournament was up to 41 golf balls through Friday evening.
