Assistant Golf Professional / Player Developmentassociate
I am a passionate, dedicated, and results-driven golf instructor committed to helping golfers of all ages and skill levels reach their full potential. Whether you are picking up a club for the first time, working to lower your handicap, preparing for tournament competition, or simply looking to enjoy the game more, I provide personalized instruction designed to meet your individual goals.
I believe there is no "one-size-fits-all" golf swing. Every golfer has unique physical abilities, athletic backgrounds, learning styles, and objectives. My approach is built around understanding each student as an individual and creating a customized improvement plan that produces lasting results. My goal is not simply to make changes during a lesson, but to help golfers develop a repeatable, efficient swing they can trust on the golf course.
I have extensive experience teaching beginners, recreational golfers, juniors, competitive players, and veterans. I especially enjoy working with junior golfers, helping them build sound fundamentals, confidence, discipline, and a lifelong passion for the game. Equally important to me is coaching veterans in a supportive and respectful learning environment that recognizes individual physical capabilities while providing instruction that is both effective and enjoyable.
My teaching philosophy centers on simplicity, communication, and long-term player development. Rather than having students copy positions or chase a "perfect" swing, I help them understand the cause-and-effect relationships within their own swing. Every lesson begins with a thorough evaluation to identify the changes that will provide the greatest improvement. From there, I develop a clear, structured plan that gives each golfer confidence and direction both during practice and on the golf course.
Technology plays an important role in my instruction because it provides objective, measurable feedback that accelerates improvement. I utilize the Full Swing Launch Monitor, along with OnForm coaching software and advanced 3D swing analysis, to give golfers a complete understanding of their ball flight, club delivery, and body movements. These tools allow students to see their swing in real time, compare swings over time, measure progress with accurate data, and better understand how small changes lead to significant improvements in consistency and performance.
My instruction emphasizes the complete game of golf. In addition to full swing mechanics, I work with players on short game, pitching, chipping, bunker play, putting, course management, practice strategies, mental preparation, and scoring. I believe that lowering scores comes from improving every aspect of the game, not just making a better golf swing.
Communication is one of the most important parts of effective coaching. I strive to explain concepts in a simple, relatable, and easy-to-understand manner so every golfer leaves each lesson knowing exactly what to practice and why. My lessons are positive, encouraging, and structured to build confidence while creating measurable improvement.
Golf is a lifelong journey of learning and development, and I take great pride in helping every student enjoy that journey. Whether your goal is to break 100, shoot in the 70s, compete at a high level, prepare for junior or collegiate golf, or simply gain more confidence on the course, I am committed to providing professional, personalized instruction that helps you achieve lasting success and enjoy the game for years to come.
