Born in Portsmouth Virginia and moved to Maryland and then Hawaii, settling on the Garden Island of Kauai. Started working at the Prince Golf Course in Princeville and elected to PGA membership in 2006 focusing on teaching and coaching. Moved to Los Angeles and worked for Dick's Sporting Goods managing golf department in Pasadena location and then relocated back to Kauai and hired by Princeville Makai Golf Course in charge of golfer development programs.
