Most people that I know call me Smitty. I love teaching golf and watching people get better and the joy it brings them. Group lessons with a group of friends just beginning golf or have only been playing for a short time are really fun because improvement is usually very noticeable and they have a social connection to play the game. Over my 33 years of teaching golf, I have found it to be extremely rewarding to have people know you will do what is best for them. People learn in different ways, so I ask questions about physical limitation, past sports played, what type of work was or is their professio. All of these questions give me insight to the student and help me relate better to how the individual learns.
