Eric Handley, PGA
Director, Penn State Suzy and Jim Broadhurst Golf Teaching and Research CenterEric Handley is an Associate Teaching Professor at Penn State University in their PGA Golf Management program and serves as Director of the Suzy and Jim Broadhurst Golf Teaching and Research Center. He oversees all instruction related to golf teaching and coaching, while also coordinating a research program which focuses on player performance and golf biomechanics. He routinely collaborates with industry to conduct research that informs their instruction and educational offerings.
In 2017 Eric was the recipient of the Philadelphia Section’s PGA Professional Development Award. Penn State’s College of Health and Human Development has awarded him with their Teaching Excellence Award, and since 2021 Golf Digest has recognized him each year as a “Best Teacher” in Pennsylvania. He is routinely featured as a presenter at regional, national, and international teaching and coaching conferences, including the 2014 Golf Magazine Top 100 Teacher Retreat, the 2017 PGA Teaching and Coaching Summit, and the 2018 and 2024 World Scientific Congress of Golf.
