Greg Brown
Teaching Professionalassociate
First started playing the game when I was 8 years old, playing with my dad and younger brother. I grew up playing a variety of sports, but when 8th grade hit, I began playing golf more avidly. Golf filled my competitive void which led me to begin playing competitive golf, earning; varsity letters, all conferences teams, competing in junior and amateur Tournaments throughout high school all over California. All playing a part in earning a golf scholarship to Holy Names University in Oakland, California where I would graduate with my bachelor’s degree in communications. As I still compete professionally, It wasn’t until graduating college where I found my passion for teaching. I enjoy helping others achieve what they set out to accomplish and golf is the perfect platform for me to do so. My philosophy is that no matter what level of golfer, “having fun” should be the #1 priority while learning and playing. “By getting my students to be more aware of what they are doing and why they are doing it, they can become their own golf coach.” A strong base of fundamentals (grip, posture, aim and alignment) is the process which can, and will, lead to desirable outcomes. I’m a dedicated and highly motivated professional that promotes the game of golf to all players regardless of the ability level whose mission is to help my students reach a level in which they can enjoy themselves while playing the game of golf!
Helping players achieve their goals.
