Bob Hartigan
Assistant Golf Professionalassociate
I am a Level 3 PGA Associate Professional with a lifelong passion for the game of golf and a strong commitment to helping players improve, enjoy the game, and reach their personal goals. My career in golf began in Corning, New York, where I played high school and junior college golf. Those early competitive experiences helped shape my love for the game and gave me a strong foundation in the fundamentals, discipline, and mindset required to play better golf.
Throughout my career in the golf industry, I have been fortunate to work in several outstanding golf markets, including Myrtle Beach, Raleigh, Sanibel Island, and currently Sarasota, Florida. Each stop has allowed me to learn from different players, facilities, instructors, and golf cultures, giving me a well-rounded perspective on how to help golfers of all ages and skill levels.
As a coach, my goal is to make the game more understandable, enjoyable, and approachable. I believe every golfer is different, and improvement comes from building a plan that fits each player’s swing, goals, experience level, and learning style. Whether you are brand new to the game, looking to lower your scores, preparing for competition, or simply trying to enjoy your rounds more, I focus on clear communication, solid fundamentals, and practical improvements that transfer to the golf course.
In addition to my PGA education, I am Golf Genius Certified, which has strengthened my knowledge of tournament operations, player management, and golf event administration. This experience has given me a deeper appreciation for the game from both a playing and professional operations standpoint.
The golf course has always been my favorite place to be, and I look forward to helping you improve your game, build confidence, and enjoy golf even more.
