Jack C. Ganzer
1st Assistant Golf Professionalassociate
I was introduced to the game at the age of 11 by my grandfather and uncle. Quickly I fell in love and knew this was the sport for me. I gave up baseball and football to focus on golf at the age of 12. I began taking lessons soon after that and when I left my first golf lesson I knew I wanted to be a PGA professional. This pursuit never waivered in my mind. After graduating high school from Henry Sibley in Mendota Heights I decided to attend the University of Wisconsin-Stout and embark on their Golf Enterprise Management degree. While at Stout I needed to complete two internships. My first one was done at Somerset Country Club in West Saint Paul. The next summer I had an opportunity to come over to Prestwick Golf Club in Woodbury. This is where I have called home ever since. 2026 will be my 10th season at Prestwick!
