Born in South Korea and raised in Dallas, TX, Jay is a bilingual PGA Class A member fluent in Korean and English with extensive international teaching experience.

While earning her B.B.A. from the Sam Houston State University PGA/PGM Program in 2019, she achieved PGA Class A status and launched a global career that began with PGA Golf Academy in China at the legendary Mission Hills Resort Club, the world’s largest golf facility. She then also taught at the prestigious Hong Kong Golf & Tennis Academy (HKGTA), one of Asia’s most celebrated training venues before moving to J-Golf in Golfzon Grandplaza Hotel Hanoi, Vietnam, where she became a favorite among Korean, Vietnamese, and Chinese golfers.

Jay was also recognized as the first PGA candidate selected for the Ernie Els Golf Academy (EPGA) international teaching initiative, a milestone that underscores her global reputation.

Certified in Golf Biomechanics and an expert TrackMan operator, Jay integrates cutting-edge technology and movement science into every lesson, offering precise, data-driven feedback for players of all levels.

Now based in Always Sunny Golf lounge in Lewisville, Texas as a Director of Instruction, she provides both indoor studio sessions with GDR Max and Vision NX simulators and also provides outdoor on-course instruction, delivering a versatile learning experience tailored to each student’s goals.

Known for crafting powerful, visually refined swings, Jay specializes in junior development programs, ladies clinics, and customized distance-gain training for men. Her teaching philosophy remains simple: make golf enjoyable, approachable, and a lifelong sport.
